On October 13, 2015, official celebration at Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Tunis was held on the occasion of Independence and Defenders’ Days.

The event was attended by Ukrainian Embassies’ in Tunisia and Libya staff and their families, Ukrainian community, Tunisian friends of the Embassy.

During the event the Agreement with Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Sousse Mr.Lotfi Rouissi was signed, as well as special identification cards were granted for foreign Ukrainians. The participants commemorated the memory of those who died for Ukraine with the silence minute.

That evening Ambassador of Ukraine in Tunisia Mr.Mykola Nahornyi addressed the participants in order to greet them with state holidays.
